We know the first visit can feel like a big step. Here’s what you can expect to help you feel comfortable and welcomed:

When You Arrive

Our greeters will welcome you warmly at the entrance
Feel free to ask any questions – everyone here was new once!
We’ll show you where everything is and introduce you to others
No pressure to participate if you prefer to observe

During Services

Prayer books and tallit are available if you choose
Follow along at your own pace – there’s no ‘wrong way’. We have optional transliterated prayer books to follow as an option
Services combine Hebrew and English
Rabbi often explains what’s happening throughout services
Congregation is welcoming to all backgrounds and knowledge levels

What To Wear

We believe in ‘come as you are’ – your presence matters more than your outfit.

General Guidelines

Business casual to dressy casual is most common
Some dress up more for High Holidays
Modest clothing is appreciated but not strictly enforced
Comfort is key – you’ll be sitting and standing
